STEP 2

Here are four companies… All of these companies have a location in town that you can go to buy things…

Remember, that these strategies are based on the resources that are being utilized in the company… for example if the company already has people in store doing the function of selling furniture at ikea… and then you have to pay more people to sell furniture online… this would be additional resources you are overlaying on top of your company in order to sell furniture.

On the other hand… if you walk into a store.. and when you are about to buy the furniture they tell you to contact the individual online… this would be integrating the same resource to complete two functions of the store.

If your company used to sell furniture in the store, and then decided and alternate route where we will only allow people to buy online.. but we can provide warranty and fixing capabilities at the store

If your company sells furniture at the store… but if you want to purchase the extra five year warranty you will have to purchase it online.. because they want to replace the energy involved with the process for their salesmen…

Send a google spreadsheet with 2 sentences, describing which business goes with each business strategy… only 1 business goes with each strategy … there are no duplicates:

1.  Optimum — Asks their customers to go online and make payments, purchase new plans, or make modifications with their service.

2.  Wells Fargo — Asks people to purchase their credit card and some loan services via online means…

3.  Wallmart — some goods are only sold online… although you can pick them up at the store…

4.  Dominos Pizza — you use the internet to purchase your order… and they will deliver it to your house.
